Even when the ATTACK knob is turned all the way down, it still produces a fair amount of distortion; as you turn ATTACK up, the distortion gradually intensifies and adds depth to the sound.This is a unit that lets you fully enjoy a thick, vintage-style drive sound. Models equipped with OC81D transistors are said to have been used by Jimmy Page during his time with the Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin, making this a highly sought-after configuration. This unit has been retrofitted with a DC jack for use with a 9V DC power supply, making it extremely user-friendly.
